Depart from Athens, Europe’s oldest city, on a 10-day intensive voyage to Cyprus, five days in two welcoming ports in Israel, and sun-soaked Crete. Enjoy a day at sea before awakening in Limassol, one of the busiest ports of the Mediterranean. Stroll narrow streets lined with shops, bars, tavernas, and explore markets full of fresh local produce and fine wines. History buffs might prefer the museums and archaeological sites like Kolossi Castle, the Grand Mosque in the old Turkish quarter, the Archaeological Museum, or the medieval Limassol Castle, built around AD 1000. The next morning you’ll arrive in Haifa, Israel, where a late stay follows an overnight, leaving lots of opportunities to discover biblical and archaeological sites of wonder, including Nazareth, Galilee, the Jordan River, and Elijah’s Cave. Then, prepare for three days in Jerusalem. Walk the Stations of the Cross or see some of the most celebrated shrines on earth, including the Western Wall and the exquisite Dome of the Rock atop the Temple Mount. Enjoy a day cruising at sea, relaxing on deck or indulging in spa treatments at Sanctum Spa before visiting Rethymnon, Crete, where you’ll discover the center of the Minoan civilization, one of the best-preserved old towns in Crete, and beautiful Byzantine and Hellenic-Roman remnants like the bell tower of Megalos Antonios and the Rethymnon Lighthouse. Return to Athens where you quench your thirst for more archaeological wonders at the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Ancient Agora, and of course, the Acropolis.
While Vacation is a time to explore it is also a time to relax. The Discoveries Lounge is located just outside Azamara’s main restaurant and this congenial bar is a favorite gathering place for pre- and post-dinner conversation and drinks. Bar service includes a full selection of fine wines, mixed drinks, and premium spirits. Enjoy live performances of professional full-stage musicals, classical soloists, bands and other forms of entertainment in a cabaret nightclub with a full bar and cozy tables. Each cruise has as many as three distinctly different shows while onboard. Dance late into the night as the live band kicks in after dinner. Wearing white is optional, but encouraged. The Casino will keep you entertained with blackjack, roulette, slot machines, and three-card poker games. Group and individual gaming lessons are offered at no charge and a great way to learn gaming strategy! For Sports fan, the Spirits bar adjacent to the Casino features a flat-screen TV. and full bar, making it a very pleasant place to keep up with your favorite teams.

Enjoy an intimate breakfast, lunch, or dinner for two or a lively meal for six with the flexible seating options. The Patio serves as a casual “pool grill” during the day and becomes transformed into a more sophisticated dining experience in the evening. The self serve Frozen yogurt station is a staple of the Patio and is available all day. Mosaic Café is the onboard coffee corner where You'll find all your favorite coffee drinks and you can order them just the way you like as well as light snacks. Lastly is the delicious Room Service served 24 hours a day. Lunch and dinner room service features a menu of hearty soups, fresh salads, gourmet sandwiches, pizzas and desserts.

Piraeus (Athens), Greece / Start your journey in Piraeus with an archaeological walk past landmarks like the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Ancient Agora, and of course, the Acropolis. Afterwards, head to the Central Market for a feast of fresh fruit and veggies, nuts, olives, and Grecian cheese. Finally, check out a local taverna where you can rub elbows with the locals well into the wee hours of the night.
Limassol, Cyprus / Limassol’s quaint narrow streets are filled with lively character, tavernas, and shops, where you can find fresh local produce, famous wines, and fine handmade goods. Visit sites like Kolossi Castle, a former Crusader stronghold; the Grand Mosque in the old Turkish quarter; the Archaeological Museum; and Limassol Castle, allegedly where Richard the Lionheart married his queen during the Third Crusade.
Haifa (Nazareth), Israel / Haifa is a modern city and seaport on the slopes of Mount Carmel, and is an excellent base for visiting biblical and archaeological sites. Within easy reach are the Galilee, Nazareth, the River Jordan, as well as Safed, a holy mountaintop city steeped in the mysticism of Kabbalah. Today it is also immersed in the arts, and studios and galleries abound.
Ashdod (Jerusalem), Israel / This ancient holy city won't fail to move you, regardless of your faith. From the Western Wall, to the Dome of the Rock, to the last remnants of the Temple of the Jews, Jerusalem is a woven tapestry of religion and history. Head to the modern Israel Museum and see the famous Dead Sea Scrolls for yourself.
Rethymno, Crete, Greece / Be greeted by an enchanting Venetian harbor and get lost in a maze of narrow streets lined with rainbow-hued homes in this romantic port town between Chania and Heraklion on Crete.
